We have received an unusually high number of inquiries this past week, so we did this brief writeup to answer as many questions as possible until we can take the time to address each of your messages individually.
We understand that many of you have been waiting longer than expected for your orders to arrive. We are deeply sorry for the delay. Please be assured that we are still producing razors and strops and are fulfilling orders, albeit at a reduced rate.
We further apologize for having waited so long to respond to your inquiries. We waited as long as we could to alert people to our situation, but it has become clear over the past few weeks that it is quite serious and will have an effect on our ability to fulfil orders in a timely manner.
Scott, our founder and lead bladesmith, has been in and out of the hospital with a series of medical emergencies over the past few months. We cannot be certain how long it will take for his condition to improve, and so we feel compelled to inform our fans and customers of the situation. His doctors have not yet identified a firm diagnosis or treatment plan, so we will do our best to keep everyone updated as we know more.
Please be aware that while we cannot guarantee a precise delivery date, Hunter is still diligently producing razors and fulfilling orders in the order they were received. We hope to have more help in the shop soon and are currently accepting applications for apprentice bladesmiths.
